Step 1: Your system most likely has an amplifier. You have connected the remote turn-on lead to the blue wire. It should be connected to the blue/white wire.
Step 2: You may be playing a copy-protected CD. Switch the deck from MP3/WMA mode by pressing and holding the BAND button, remove the disc and re-insert. On higher end decks, the CD mode is in the “setup menu”. It should be in CD mode to play copy-protected CDs.
